Cindy's sister not voting for McCain

The Huffington Post reported yesterday that Cindy McCain's half-sister, Kathleen Hensley Portalski, will not be voting for John McCain.

"I'm voting for Obama," she said. "I think his proposals to improve the country are more positive and I'm not a big war believer."

Her son, Nathan, was more adamant. "I would not vote at all before I'd vote for him. I question whether Cindy is someone I'd want to see in the White House as first lady."

Part of this animosity toward McCain may derive from the fact that Kathleen became angry when she heard Cindy refer to herself as an only child. "I'm upset," she said, "I'm angry. It makes me feel like a nonperson, kind of."

Perhaps she also doesn't like Cindy's pilfered recipes.

Family squabbles are not a good reason to vote for sopmone or not. Prhaps they know something we do not know though.
