Rush Limbaugh wants Obama to fail

Rush Limbaugh, is a big, fat, ugly, white guy with no heart and no brain. So, whatever he says is not surprising. It is usually mean-spirited, false, untrue, nasty, idiotic, stupid, cruel, etc., but it is not surprising.

Limbaugh thinks the inauguration of President Barack Obama was a miserable failure, a flop, a joke, nothing more than another campaign event. Heh, heh.

He has a right to his opinion, of course, in spite of the fact that millions of people around the world would heartily disagree, but that's only the beginning.

Limbaugh wants President Obama to fail as president. Here's what he said on his radio show last Friday:

"I disagree fervently with the people on our [Republican] side of the aisle who have caved and who say, ‘Well, I hope he succeeds.’”

Then he mentioned he had been asked by “a major American print publication” to offer a 400-word statement explaining his “hope for the Obama presidency.” He responded:

"So I'm thinking of replying to the guy, 'Okay, I'll send you a response, but I don't need 400 words, I need four. I hope he fails. What are you laughing at? See, here's the point. Everybody thinks it's outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, 'Oh, you can't do that.' Why not? Why is it any different, what's new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what's gotten us dangerously close to the precipe here. Why do I want more of it? I don't care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: 'Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.' Somebody's gotta say it."

What the fat, ugly white man is really promoting, of course, is the failure of the country. And, he knows very well that "liberalism" isn't the problem, but the cure. The problems of our nation are not the result of liberalism, but are the spawn of the "conservative" politics Limbaugh showcases.

And what he doesn't realize is that his day is over. The country has moved in another direction. The population is changing rapidly and dramatically. Limbaugh, a sad and pathetic excuse for a human being, will find his audience made up of more and more of the marginalized, the mentally ill, the dumb and dumber, and the world will pass him by like roadkill on an Interstate.

The people who want a president to fail due to philosophical differences are, almost invariably, the ones the current system has helped the most (aka the rich).
This shows up especially when these
'differences' aren't exactly "lets get rid of the president and install a constitutional monarchy". The poor don't generally care about the subtle quirks of given economic programs.
(Actually, neither do I...I have no problem with trickle down economics...except for the fact that it doesn't work).

The citizens of the US have a strong bent towards practicality.

Bob Poris said...

I doubt if Limbaugh will lose his audience!! He has managed to simplify the problems and knows the answers. His base is ignorant and will remain seeing him as the savior of the US. Limbaugh is very wealthy and doesn’t have to worry about the economy or his job. The “ditto heads” revel in their knowledge and in the security granted by their stockpiles of weapons to be used against the enemies of the USA. Right wing radio still controls the airwaves. With unemployment rising, more will stay home and listen to Limbaugh and others that tell them why they are unemployed. They will be told who to blame and who to hate. They will eat it up and wait for the wealthy to come to their rescue.

Anonymous said...

Do not mind Rush, he is just $$$, he wants ratings, to get them he just stands behind the fence (the mike) and criticizes everything some body says or does he would be unemployed otherwise.

Bob Poris said...

My proctologist sees trickle down as a symptom of a problem that must be looked into and generally cured. It always has unpleasant symptoms that should be addressed for the victim’s sake and all those nearby.

Anonymous said...

Rush, you are a fat piece of racist Shit.

Anonymous said...

I am ever amazed at the power this man has over his self proclaimed ditto heads (just think of what they call themselves?!). He is a college drop out who quite because he could not make passing grades. By his own mother's estimation he has only been good at radio broadcasting. He is a demagogue in every respect giving arguments with no backing whatsoever and yet he holds sway with some otherwise intelligent and caring people.

This is his rock bottom husband's reaction was to point out that if President Obama does fail it is our country that pays...economically and also with our security. As terrorists wish those same ills on us would this attitude make Mr. Limbaugh a terrorist? I think it likely.

The only difference between Limbaugh and a bucket of the bucket. (May the fat shit choke on his next cheese burger.)

Anonymous said...

If you would print the 4 or 5 sentences prior to the I hope he fails comment, you would see that Rush was not commenting on Obama's presidency. He was only making the point that he did not want Obama to succeed in implimenting big government "socialist" policies. It's alright to dissagree with Rush's views, but, to perpetuate a lie by distorting his obvious meaning is wrong. Until you are able to view the unedited quote you may want to withhold your comments.

Anonymous said...

Why have a blog that only posts one point of view???????????

Anonymous said...

Rush is as un-American as they come. What idiot loser actually wants their president to fail? What a sore loser he is. I did not like Bush. I did not vote for him twice, but I did not want him to fail because that would be bad for the country. He did fail and it was bad for the country, but I did not want him to fail. Rush is truely a douchebag.

Jacob said...

To anonymous. Limburger said "I hope he fails." He didn't say I hope he doesn't implement big government social policies. He said "I hope he fails." Why? Because Obama represents "liberalism."

Why would defend this insane nutjob?

And to the other anonymous. If you want another point of view, write your own blog. You need a course in logic.

Bob Poris said...

It was Bush that socialized the banks, not Obama

Anonymous said...

please post the whole sentence if your going to post falsehoods about him. I don't like rush either but lets be truthful

So I shamelessly say, "No! I want him to fail." If his agenda is a far-left collectivism -- some people say socialism -- as a conservative heartfelt, deeply, why would I want socialism to succeed?

Anonymous said...

If Obama fails we all fail, including Limbaugh and his listeners.

Anonymous said...

I hope this website fails.

Jacob said...

Thanks, anonymous. Got to you, huh? You a ditto-head?

Bob Poris said...

No matter how you read it, regardless of what he wants, Limbaugh wants him to fail. We have one president and if he fails, we all go down. Bush failed with a conservative agenda. We all went down due to his failure.

Anonymous said...

Once again you libs have conveniently chosen to not report the whole story. In that same interview Rush gave several examples of what Obama could do that he would aplaude. He then went on to say he was suspicious because he has seen no reason to HOPE for such things.

You are happy to have big daddy government destroy incentive, promote stupidity and reward mediocrity. Don't you get it? The government CREATES nothing! They only take.

Tommy Korioth said...

Poor Rush. With a head that size and with Obama as President he must be crying himself to sleep every night on his big pillow.

Bob Poris said...

It seems to be doing well. It doesn’t need some readers. I hope they are doing well and are financially secure and have their retirement planned well, along with their health care. They must be happy with the results of the last eight years.

Bob Poris said...

The government, using our tax dollars, gives us the armed services, patrols our borders, works on our health, pays for all kinds of services, including fire and police etc. How would we operate without a government? Has any nation worked without one? Anarchy has never worked.

Do you have a better solution or a substitute for government?

Rush believes that Liberals are the cause of all our problems since the beginning of time. We were better off prior to the Bush years and the government was run by Republican Conservatives for fourteen years.

Anonymous said...

How would President Obama answer
1. There were many Republicans elected with wide margins in the Senate and the House. Do you want them to succeed or fail?

2. Do you want Conservatism to succeed or fail?

What's the difference in Rush's answers to what would be Pres. Obama's?

Jacob said...

You make no sense. Succeed or fail at what?

And why would you expect Obama to express himself is the same dumbass way Limbaugh did?

I'm sure he'd want them to succeed if it meant the country would be better off. Hah. Been there, done that. Republicans by and large do not work for the good of the country!

As for your #2. What's wrong with you? Conservatism is a failed philosophy. It is no longer relevant to anything! Bury it!

My dad has been listening to Limbaugh since he's been on the air. He is a Reagan Democrat, 80, widowed, and sit's home in front of the tv watching Fox News and listening to Limbaugh and ilk the entire day. Limbaugh has kidnapped my dad's mind and heart. He has become so hateful narrow minded, biggoted and racist. When I travel home I listen to Limbaugh for a few minutes (about all I can stomach)so I know what I will be hit with.

The very sad part of all of this is that I will never have an intelligent conversation or heart to heart with my dad. He will never know what is in my heart because I will never allow him to trample upon my most cherished political and religious beliefs. Limbaugh has murdered my father's Spirit.

I know that Limbaugh has divided 10's of thousands of families. I will devote the rest of my life exposing his lies to those I mentor, minister, and teach.

Jacob said...

Anon. Thank you for writing. What you are saying needs to be broadcast far and wide. Too often, Limbaugh is laughed at, as if he's somehow really benign behind his bigoted, hate-filled, racist commentary.

But he is not. He is a cancer in our society and I, too, know people like your father who simply have lost any ability to discriminate or reason because Limbaugh has sucked them dry.

My best wishes as you work to expose this creep for the slime bucket he is.

Anonymous said...

I hope someday he actually chokes on his own words. A fitting end to the Dr. Of Dumb.

Anonymous said...

It ia very sad that people go along with Mr. Limbaugh. This man a thorn in the side of our nation. As the old saying goes don't go away mad ( Rush ) just please go away. If you wish Obama
to fail you wish the same for our nation

Do any of you compassionate socialist imbeciles work for a living, or are you, as I suspect, primarily the products of the welfare state (and that includes you moronic college students)? As to the sad doe-eyed idiot who noted that Rush dropped out of college, might I add that most of your no-doubt idols (Brittany Spears, et. al.) never attended college either. Should they have? Should LeBron James have attended college? By the way---has college improved your own critical thinking skills (based on your thought process and that of the rest of your ilk, I truly doubt it).

As one of the few still above the $250,000 mark, I can tell you that my wife and I have given over $10,000 annually to charity, for the past 5 years. We probably won't do that this year---not because we can't, but because we won't. And why should we? Obama, our newly minted Marxist president, along with a full contingent of elitist Marxist thugs in Congress, will confiscate our wealth soon enough.

Which is all well and good. Might I remind you liberal idiots of one thing, however. The problem with socialism is that eventually you end up running out of other people's money to spend. If any of you can read, try to get through Atlas Shrugged---you might learn something,

In closing, while the rest of you may be happy living off the dole, when the entire economic system collapses (as it surely must), I and millions of other members of the productive class won't be around to pay your monthly welfare check. I guess you'll have to pray to your lord and savior President Obama to print some more money---which can at least be used for toilet paper (oh I forgot---toilet paper is bad for the environment).

By the way, I may be the one college professor whose lectures you should have attended (but then none of you majored in business and economics did you?)

Ding bat liberals---you'll be forced to learn the hard way.

Jacob said...

Dear Anon. You sure make a lot of assumptions in a pathetic attempt to bolster your incredibly stupid arguments. And you are just absolutely wonderful to give away $10K annually. Maybe you'll get a special crown in heaven?

It's fascinating, too, that you seem to want to blame the "liberals" for the mess we're in. Not so, or haven't you been paying attention for the past 8 plus years?

And your lack of intellect, compassion, common sense and humanity surely shows when you call our president a "newly minted Marxist president."

You are one sick puppy, my friend.

mjk said...

Jacob, your profile says you are a historian. Tell me this, how many times has Socialism worked? Bloated government will not spur economic growth. Obama's policies will only slow recovery and reward bad behavior and lead to mediocrity. Hey I don't think Obama is a "newly minted Marxist" either, I think he's been a Marxist for years.

Nancy R said...

Supply side economics is the ONLY thing that will get us out of this recession. Obama's policies will, with out a doubt, not work. Even Keynesian economics advocates tax cuts during a recession. Karl Marx would be proud.

Jacob said...

Dear Nancy, you know neither Marx nor economics. Supply side econ has never worked in history and it sure as hell won't now. That's what got us in this mess in the first place!

Roux said...

I want Obama's attempt to have gov't control of our lives to fail.

Jacob said...

Roux, it is incredible to me that you don't seem to understand that it isn't Obama who wants government to control your lives -- that was Bush and he did a pretty damn good job of it. Remember the next time you get your picture taken for running a red light -- thank George W. and his Homeland Security money!

And when you get arrested and thrown in jail and no one knows where you are for five years and you get tortured and you never get to talk to a lawyer, you can thank Bush and the Repugnicans.

And when your telephone calls are intercepted and read by hundreds of bureaucrats you can thank Bush and the Repugnicans.

I can't believe people like you are so damn dumb. Obama doesn't want to control your life, he's trying to help you get control of your own life and not be under the thumb of the corporations and the banks who have done a wonderful job of screwing up all of our lives.

You really need to not listen to the Limbaughs of the world that make $40 mil a year spewing garbage and hatred!

Why Republicans take Rush Limbaugh so seriously is beyond comprehension. “El Rusho,” admittedly, is a good entertainer, a comedian of sorts, but he is no political or social sage by any stretch of the imagination. .

Listen to one of his radio shows for its full three hours--the staged phone calls, the prepared scripts, the tortured statistics, the non-sequiturs, the twisted logic, the half-baked ideas, the gasping changes of direction in mid thought, the out-of- context sound bytes, the wrong predictions, the baseless information, the name-calling, false piety, blustering, mockery, sniggering—and nothing of substance shows through.

John McCain had it right when he called Limbaugh a Bozo and then apologized to Bozo for making the comparison. (Fox News, 2005). Too bad that GOP Chairman Michael Steel doesn't have the cojones to follow suit. (What is he so afraid of that retracted his apt criticism of "El Rusho"?)

That Republicans so revere Rush Limbaugh—and Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter and others lowbrows of their ilk-- shows how low their intellectual standards have plummeted. Small wonder that so many fiscal and free-thinking conservatives are parting company with the Republican Party.

Dear Jacob

You truly have your head up your ass if you really believe this crap that you're writing.

I believe that every kid such as you should have the opportunity for universal military service, so that you can see how the world really is.

Anonymous said...

Jacob, I hope you do not get the mediocre life you are shooting down towards. Aim for better things. Look to Russia. Look to China. Look to Cuba. If your wish comes true, you will loose this webpage to express your opinion.

Jacob said...

Actually, anon, no. I almost lost this website and my freedom under G. W. Bush and the Repugnicans who shredded our Constitution during their reign of terror.

Obama will bring back our basis rights, the Constitution, and freedom to this country.

Think about that as you walk down the streets being photographed by cameras bought with money from the Bush administration to keep watch on the American people.

It's not Obama we need to fear. It's the crackpots on the right who have essentially adopted fascism and violence as their message and their means.

And let me say something to that fucking moron who called me a kid and impugned my intelligence and common sense. I'm 72 years old, moron, and I served in the U.S. Navy, and I've been around long enough to know its ignoramuses like you who are the greatest danger this country has ever faced!
