Obama to Republicans: "I won."
He could have, and should have, added: "Get over it. Get in line. Your policies, built on the rusting ruins of conservatism and Christian fundamentalism, are in shreds. We're giving the government back to ALL the people."
According to Charles Hurt at the New York Post, Obama also "warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today [Jan. 23] that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"'You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,' he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package."
Sometimes you have to take Republicans by the hand and gently show them the path to the future.

I agree that Obama must remind them that their policies caused the problems and that Democrats were not consulted over a fourteen year period. Obama is trying but some Republicans are delaying action on critical areas. He might have to go public with a warning to them, that delays are costing people jobs, money, etc while they posture before the cameras. The delay re Hillary Clinton’s confirmation was pointless. It was known she would be confirmed. Bill Clinton’s business is his own concern and he was very generous in accepting restrictions on his charitable work. Will all members of the government also pledge to have their spouses or families agree to similar restrictions?
WTF, at least El Rushbo is constitutionally qualified to be President!
