And you're right about the media, too. We have no independent media anymore; we have corporate shills, many of which no longer even pretend to be interested in the truth.

i guess they dont care as long as the asshole media like chris matthews gives them air time and says stuff like "i love this stuff"

Perhaps a compromise could be reached: veto the 49% that are from the Republican side of the aisle and reward the Democrats by keeping theirs.
