Autism & Down Syndrome. There is a difference I will allow...
"...what is the difference? Ah, I have it now - er, I had it, er, oops. 'Hey Sarah, is there any difference between autism and whatever it is your child has?'"
John McCain does not seem to know that his running mate has a child with Down Syndrome.
At last night's debate, McSame said that Sarah Palin "understands that autism is on the rise, that we've got to find out what's causing it..."
Shortly thereafter, he again referred to children with autism, claiming that "Sarah Palin knows about that better than most. ..."
Blah, blah, blah.
It is clear that ol' John either doesn't know there is a difference between autism and Down Syndrome or he doesn't know what Sarah's child has.
The McCain campaign people, though, made the laughable claim that McCain did so know what he was talking about. "He was drawing a parallel between parents of children with special needs."
No, he wasn't. Just ask yourself this question: How in god's name would Ms. Palin know about "precious children who have autism ... better than most"?
How stupid do these McCain people think we are?
