The Christs before Christ
Here's a clip from the move, The God Who Wasn't There. Rather provocative if you are a fundamentalist Christian. But something to think about. Disprove it if you can.
The one addendum to the "explanation" was once given that in the Garden, pre exile from the garden the redemption plan was told to Adam and Eve. The story (a redeemer, Messiah with these attributes and plan for the redemption of sinners)was told to Adam to give hope and was passed down as oral history. This oral tradition was garbled into the many pagan gods/mythologies and that is why they are so similar.
This is interesting and yet another reason it is called "faith" and the followers "believers".
