Vote Republican or the terrorists will get ya!

Florida, a state baked by the sun and soon to be under water from global warming, still contains a plethora of screwballs and fruitcakes. Many of these weirdos end up in the Orlando area, which may have something to do with its proximity to Disney World and Mickey Mouse.

One such screwball, fruitcake, weirdo is Mike Meehan, "a St. Cloud businessman and musician." Well, "musician" may be pushing it but that's what he claims to be and he's put out a "patriotic" CD called "The Republican Song," the chorus of which says, "Don't vote for a Democrat."

That wouldn't be too bad. We have a lot of Repugnicans in Florida. Not enough to give George Bush the presidency, though. His minions were forced to invalidate boxes full of Democratic votes and then go to the "activist" Supreme Court to allow him to steal the White House.

Meehan, however, is one of the worst type of Repugnicans - he's one of those like G. W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, Tom DeLay, Trent Lott, Newt Gingrich, et. al., who believe and act upon the notion that the ends justify the means.

Meehan is a "believer" in the god-given efficacy of the Repugnican Party. Why that is so, we don't know.

Because he believes the end justifies the means, he paid for a billboard to be erected in Orange County which contains a photo of the burning World Trade Center and the words, "Please Don't Vote for a Democrat."

We affirm that Meehan is covered under the First Amendment. Freedom of speech is freedom of speech. He could erect as many of these as he could pay for. That's his right.

That doesn't mean he's not a debased and ignorant asshole who is willing to exploit the 9/11 attacks in a blatant attempt to demean the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates. That also doesn't mean that his attack billboard isn't divise, horrible, hateful and stupid.

It also confirms what we've learned in spades about Repugnicans over the past seven and one half years, and should put the fear of god into us with regard to the upcoming election.

Don't vote Democratic if you want to continue the Bush regime of unending war, a failed economy, abysmal health care, and a wholesale shredding of your constitutional rights!

How sad that Democrats are seen as the enemy and Republicans as the saviors. What's next? Do we discharge all in our armed services that cannot prove they are Republicans? Why not simply have one party, like some nations do? Then we can jail anyone that disagrees with anything done by the ultimate leader.
if the Democrats win, should they jail all Republicans as subversive? Remember, they will have all the powers Bush has taken upon himself.
