Hamas - that's the Palestinian terrorist bunch who currently control Gaza. They're the SOB's that have shot some 4,000 rockets into the southern Israeli town of Sderot. They're the nasties that hide behind their women's skirts when Israel fights back.Hamas is laying out conditions for a truce with Israel.
Hamas leader, Ismail Haniya, said Israel must quit their military operations in Gaza and re-open its borders if it wants Hamas to stop the rocket attacks. He said this deal must be "reciprocal, comprehensive and simultaneous," and the "ball is in Israel's court."
Who the hell do these clowns think they are? They are terrorists. They are bombing innocent people. Israel has said repeatedly it would halt military operations when Hamas stopped the bombing. Hamas continues bombing and blames Israel for responding militarily.
Hamas is also the group that uses every method possible to get weapons and killers into Israel. They use tunnels to smuggle goods and weapons into Gaza from Egypt. In fact, when a group of Palestinians was renovating one of these old tunnels the other day, it collapsed, killing one terrorist and injuring another.
Egypt, because of a certain amount of pressure from the U.S. and Israel, destroyed six of these tunnels last week.
Hamas wants the borders between Gaza and Israel opened so they can sneak suicide bombers and weapons into Israel to create death and destruction.
Hamas is dedicated to the annihiliation of Israel and the death of all Jews.
The ball is not in Israel's court. It has never been in Israel's court. The ball has always been in the hands of the terrorists. They turn it into a bomb or a rocket. They use it to rain down death and destruction.
You cannot negotiate with terrorists. You cannot negotiate with people who are dedicated to erasing you from the face of the earth.
Terrorists cannot lay down conditions for a truce. All they can do if they truly want peace is lay down their arms!

Unfortunately Hamas is winning! Everyone wants Israel to negotiate some kind of truce with them, rather than destroy them. By supporting them in any way, they win. By begging Abbas to negotiate but not helping him take back control of Gaza, Hamas wins. By allowing Hamas to use civilians as shields against Israeli reprisals, Hamas wins. By not demanding that either a deal be made or Gaza will be destroyed, Hamas wins.
If we are serious about defeating terror, we must join Israel and any other victim of terrorism in defeating any and all that support it. Of course, we might have to offend some of our friends but that is the price of victory. To do less, has allowed a wide variety of terrorist groups all over the world, to threaten all those too weak to fight back. We are not winning! We are conceding and rationalizing, while the enemies continue to kill and subvert.
