Fox News: Panties, Yes; Pants, No.

Jessica Wakeman over at the Huffington Post, has a funny diatribe about Fox News and its anchor-esses.

While viewing Fox News as part of her job (equivalent to cleaning a latrine in the Marine Corps), she caught a bit of banter between a male anchor and a female anchor.

The male anchor asked the female anchor, "Have you ever worn a pantsuit? Are you a pantsuit woman?"

The female "anchoress," Ainsley Earhardt, "tucks her hair behind her ears and replies, "I have! But, see, here at Fox we like to be feminine, so we don't wear the pants."

Ms. Wakeman rightly considers that "a really creepy characterization of femininity..."

I guess Ms. Earhardt just didn't know what else to say, so she told the truth. She's paid to sit around and look "feminine," not to be a journalist or a real reporter.

There are no real reporters working for Fox News.

Earhardt is merely "eye candy" for the rednecks out in the boonies, who, slouched down in their corduroy recliners, clutch a bag of chips and a quart of beer, and grunt along with Bill O'Reilly.

Ms. Earhardt could try out for a job with Naked News, but I think they look for people who not only don't wear pants, but don't wear skirts, too.

How sad, when one considers the size of their audiences and how many depend upon Fox for their news and views. I hope we do not get what we deserve. It is scary.

All female reporters are eye candy. The sexier they look the more watch. Not noly should it be required they wear skirts but they make them be short.
