McCain sinks to new low

Where will it end? How low will John go? He's already sold his soul to the devils on the Christian right, so perhaps he's no longer afraid of eternity in hell.

McCain bombed in the second debate last night. Time is running out. He is flailing about wildly. Has he gone insane?

Michael D. Shear of WaPo, says that the McCain camp put out a statement in which "the son of a former New York State Supreme Court Justice whose house was firebombed by Ayers' group condemned Sen. Barack Obama, declaring that 'Barack Obama's friends tried to kill my family.'"

The son's name is John M. Murtagh. He's an attorney. He was nine years old when the Weather Underground attacked his family's home. His father was presiding over a trial of Black Panthers.

"The terrorist group founded by Barack Obama's friend William Ayers, firebombed my house," said lawyer Murtagh. "Barack Obama may have been a child when William Ayers was plotting attacks against U.S. targets -- but I was one of those targets. Barack Obama's friend tried to kill my family."

So the McCain campaign sinks into the slime. I would think they can't go any lower, but I would not bet money on it. There will be a special place in hell reserved for Murtagh, too. These slimeballs know very goddamn well that Obama had nothing to do with Ayers' previous life. These slimeballs know very goddamn well that Obama and Ayers have never had a close relationship. These slimeballs know very goddamn well that they are casting mud upon the waters in hopes of destroying Obama's character in the eyes of the those voters who put up McCain/Palin signs in their yards but are incapable of making the effort to learn the truth.

McCain is one sick puppy and the people who work for him are immoral, unethical sleazebags!
