Then a new video, or at least one I haven't seen before. Senator McCain in a speech refers to "President Putin of Germany." Evidently, he isn't aware of the fact that Mr. Putin is not now and never has been president of Germany, but was, until recently, the president of Russia!

The Republican Party, if it had any moral substance whatsoever, would boot this man back to his ranch in Arizona. He is simply not of presidential caliber. He is ignorant. He flip-flops all over the place. He is lacking the requisite experience in both domestic and foreign affairs!
Maybe the United States has committed terrible sins in its past and maybe the United States should be punished by some just deity, but the the United States has not been bad enough to deserve John McCain as president.

Since when is knowledge of history or current events a prerequisite for President? If we make the qualifications too hard, we will not get anyone to run for the office. Perhaps McCain has been getting advice from Bush.
