Palin got $1.25 million for memoir

Is this a great country, or what?

Where else could a quitter who has the brains of a broomstick, put out a memoir (consisting of about four years of public service) written by a ghostwriter and receive $1.25 million buckaroos as a "retainer."

The publisher who paid her this ungodly sum is HarperCollins. You might consider boycotting anything published by HarperCollins in the future.

Someone else came to this conclusion before I did, but the mere existence of this broomstick from Alaska is pretty good evidence there is no loving god who cares about the earth and its people.

She could still keep milking it for a long time and become a factor in the next elections as a third party candidate or even the Republican candidate. We are in deep trouble when an idiot can get rich and influential. I think George Bush’s presidency did more damage to our system than we thought. First by the Supreme Court making the decision to award him the victor rather than a recount. Election rules had always been a state’s right.
