Honoring Kentucky's "heritage"

Back in May of 2011, good Christian politicos in Kentucky were considering a license plate such as this. To honor the "heritage," dontcha know?

Such a nice word is "heritage." Brings to mind God and country, Mom and apple pie, freedom and opportunity.

Not. Not in Kentucky. Heritage in Kentucky means the Confederacy. It means human bondage, slavery. It means beatings and rape and murder.

That's all.

Does anyone know if Kentucky approved this license plate honoring that heritage?
