The RAPTURE is Coming Soon!

I should say the Rapture is coming soon, I think. The problem is that the folks who are trumpeting the return of Jeebus on Wednesday said awhile back that the RAPTURE would come on September 21.

Sadly, so far as I know it didn't happen.

So now they are claiming it will occur on October 21!

That doesn't give us a lot of time to get our respective houses in order, give our hearts to Jesus and find a place to wait before we're swooped up into the air to go to heaven, which is somewhere out there in the cosmos ... nobody really know where it is ...

If you don't believe me, just go to this website where you shall learn the TRUTH. And you'll know it's the truth because they use large print and lots of fluorescent colors and there are a ton of pictures and most importantly, they reference a lot of Bible verses!

Me, I'm going to go have a beer and relax. If the RAPTURE happens I hope that the good Lord will take all the christianist creeps out of here. That would make life a lot more pleasant!

Haha LOL Someone found the < font color=xxxxxx > and < font size=xxx > tags o.O

What they didn't find is the Internets Wayback Machine... *drum roll please!*

They went through and changed all the dates because they predicted the rapture would happen last year and that Hillary Clinton would be elected President.

It does make it quite difficult to make false predictions when everyone can go and see that you've already predicted the end is nigh umpteen times and have merely changed the dates.

My mother once told me a story about my grandmother. She had had some uncles, who during the great Depression in the 1930s were always preaching the end of the world was coming "any day now." They've been saying the same thing for a very long time now, but as anyone can see, we're all still here. In fact, in the Bible it says that Jesus would return before the people he was speaking to died. And that didn't happen. And... begin endless string of failed predictions!

@ A World - Amen! I did several posts a long time ago describing all the various "end of the world" predictions and scenarios down through the ages...none of which have come true, of course.

I had some people quite upset that I would dare discuss such things.
