[Photo is of Queen Palin in her younger years.]Queen Palin, who was softly and gently interviewed by Katie Couric not so long ago, now says that the reason she spoke like an idiot was that she was "a little bit annoyed."
What?
Well, yes. You see, Queen Palin thought she ought to determine which questions were worthy of being answered and which questions were beneath her. Here's what she said, according to the WaPo:
"It's like, man, no matter what you say, you are going to get clobbered. If you choose to answer a question, you are going to get clobbered on the answer. If you choose to try to pivot and go to another subject that you believe that Americans want to hear about, you get clobbered for that, too."
Oh, dear.
First of all, anyone who begins a comment with "It's like, man..." should be sent back to grammar school and if that person is running for vice president he or she should immediately be dumped in favor of someone who has grown past the high school cheerleader phase.
Secondly, would someone please explain to Queen Palin that she is expected to answer the questions posed; that when she is interviewed by the press, she does not get to choose the questions!
The problem, of course, is that Queen Palin doesn't know the answers. She has memorized the talking points provided her by the McCain campaign, but other than that, she's as dumb as a brick.
Or, maybe she was told not to discuss anything other than what she'd memorized from the little cards provided by Rove and company.
So, Palin refused to answer Couric's questions about what Supreme Court decisions she disagrees with other than Roe v. Wade, and she refused to discuss what newspapers and magazines she reads.
It should be obvious to all by now, that Palin probably doesn't know what the Supreme Court does, and thus would be unfamiliar with the court's decisions. It should also be obvious that Palin, like Bush, does not read newspapers and magazines, for the information contained therein may conflict with her worldview and predispositions.
Palin tried the same gambit of refusing to answer questions she didn't like, and using the "pivot" tactic, she commenced to discuss the aforementioned talking points during her debate with Joe Biden. Didn't work. The only people who forgave her monumental stupidity and perfidy were dyed-in-the-wool Republicans, who have their own credibility problems. Dems and Independents saw clearly that she was an incompetent fool, who, as Carl Hiaasen wrote recently, should not only not be one heartbeat away from the presidency, but shouldn't even be 100 heartbeats away from the oval office!
Now, like all stupid, perfidious, lying Republicans, Palin has headed off to Fox News. Perhaps they'll give her the respect an empty-headed queen deserves.

I want to start a new crusade to free Sarah Palin so the nation can learn how she will save us all as she has Alaska. It is obvious McCain has no new ideas and he doesn't sit around a kitchen table. When one has so many tables in so many locations, it is a chore to merely get from one table to another, so it doesn't happen often. Palin has a table and is a mom, just like our many voters. They all have ideas as to what is wrong with America, besides being dominated by Democrats, LIBERALS and pinkos. Let's hear her plan, with details, so we can solve the problems. Send a note to McCain's lobbyists and offer to pay her for her views. She should be turned loose. We need her simple wisdom and someone can correct her grammar if needed and cure her winking weak eye. After all our problems aren't very different than trying to raise a family and work, plus chew gum at the same time. My Mom would have put Russian in its place in two minutes, even though she couldn't see it from Manhattan when she was a young mom.
