My post on the Barbary Macaques (apes) on Gibraltar was not complete...please go to the following link for much more detailed information on this situation.

By and large, the people of Gibraltar are not happy with the proposed cull and action is being taken in an attempt to overturn the government's ruling.

Dear Cybernest
Since the vast majority of Americans are Christians and loudly and persistently profess Christian morality. I do wonder what Jesus would say about many things. That carries over to lands with Christian majorities that also sometimes seem to ignore their professed beliefs so easily. Obviously non Christians might not worry about what Jesus would say but it is a common refrain in the US, where I live.
Unfortunately whether the government or the people made the decision to kill rather than move, is not the issue. The issue is the reported decision to kill, which I wish had not been made. I wish you more luck than we have, in getting your government to change its collective mind.
I am pleased to know that your country is against taking life willy nilly. I wish we could say that about all people everywhere.
As for john Wayne, he was not a hero at all. He was a persistent draft dodger that profited from the absence of so many real heroes that served during WW2.
