Keith Olbermann - Blue Dogs in the hot seat

This is from last evening, but it's importance in light of the Senate panel's rejection of a public option has escalated.

If the dems cannot get a public policy with or without republicans they do not deserve to keep the people that demanded change. A really new third party of liberals willing to be liberals will have to be formed and I would join it, even though I am against third parties as splitting the electorate and allowing a minority party to run things.

Obama either will or will not demand party unity. If he cannot get it, he has lost his battle of leadership, deservedly. I would prefer he take nothing, if he cannot get it right. Even if he cannot win a second term because of it, he will still have accomplished a great deal and I am glad he won. I am not glad if he won nothing but an election. We lived thru Bush, we can live thru a good man.

I am very unhappy and hope Rockefeller and Schumer fight them off and win! That is what the sought after change was all about. The dems won, the reps lost! Period end of story the repubs are still apparently calling the shots along with big money. We cannot have it that way and expect to hold the people that really got interested and helped him win. We should learn from the unity of the republicans, even now in defeat , they are calling the shots and they do not have the votes.

I am really disgusted!!!! Can you tell?

I'm disgusted, too. To hell with bipartisanship! The people want the public option. It's time the Dems got a backbone and tell the Repugs to go to hell!
