Don't Christians read the Old testament? They should understand that Jesus, Mary, Joseph and all the teachers of Jesus, were practicing Jews. They taught him the Jewish laws as they understood them. He then used his knowledge and [perhaps his own thoughts developed from discussing such thoughts and ideas with other Jews. It is doubtful that he would suggest killing Jews simply because some disagreed with him, even ifhe decided they were wrong. It is said he believed in non violence, and to love the sinner but to hate the sin, forgiveness, etc. Roman rulers and many Christian monarchs seem to ignore such sentiments, as they proceeded to kill opposition, sometime for profit. I do not speak ancient Hebrew or Aramaic but someone does.. That might give some hints as to what he would say if he ever gets around to visiting the Jewish State and has access to an open minded media, honest religious leaders and got rid of money or lira in politics. I SUGGEST the current Pope Should do the translations. BOB PORIS
