The worst thing is that now mainstream Democrats are to the right of Nixon. If Nixon ran today, he'd be considered too big a lefty to win either party's primary.
It just makes you sigh. The party's become nothing more than fueled by bile and vindictive rage... and pandering to stupidity, religious zeal, and ignorance.
