Michelle Bachmann want Minnesotans "armed and dangerous"

One wonders what Michelle Bachmann will say next proving beyond all doubt she's probably the most ignorant and stupid member to ever inhabit the halls of Congress.

[What does that say about those Minnesotans who pushed the ballot lever in her favor?]

Think Progress and other sources of truth have recorded and provided Bachmann's latest foray into insanity for all of the world to see and hear.

Last Saturday, in an interview with WWTC 1280 AM, Rep. Blockhead went on a rant:

[She's really pissed at President Obama's cap and trade plan--it would have, she said, "the impact of forever changing our country." I suppose that in her mind it would result in fewer rich people. She is also really, really pissed that some folks think global warming is real!]

Speaking to the issue of global warming, she said: "And actually, we want this debate because the science is on our side on this one. And the science indicates that human activity is not the cause of all this global warming. And that in fact, nature is the cause, with solar flares, etc." [The "science" she refers to is the Book of Genesis!]

But, as TP points out, Bachmann isn't satisfied to merely oppose any relevant legislation. She went on:

"And really now in Washington, I'm a foreign correspondent in enemy lines. And I try to keep everyone back here in Minnesota know exactly the nefarious activities that are taking place in Washington. [...]

"I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us, having a revolution every now and then is a good thing, and the people -- we the people -- are going to have to fight back hard if we're not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States."

So, a batshit crazy Representative to the U.S. House of Representatives from Minnesota, not only denies the real causes of global warming, she also accuses the President of trying to change the country forever [whatever that means], and is calling for the people of Minnesota to arm themselves because we may have to instigate an armed revolution against the administration in order to "save" our country.

I guess Chuck Norris and Glenn Beck agree with her as they're busy putting together "cells" of revolution in Texas and elsewhere.

If you had told me that our airwaves and our Congress would be infested with these nutcases 20-30 years BR [Before Reagan), I would have told you you were out of your mind.

It's all so sad, though, when we really need to come together as a country and work together to accomplish badly-needed reforms and try to fix the wrongs that have resulted from the Bush/Cheney wrecking crew.

Here's Bachmann running off at the mouth about the poor rich people.

Bachmann is back again (and again, and again, and again)

When I lived there, I thought some people in Minnesota had good sense. I knew, though, that a bunch of them were yokels with pea-sized brains. I was right and it was the latter that elected Michelle Bachmann to Congress the first time and then did the same damn idiotic thing again!

Anyway, she's back, and according to Think Progress was talking with another right wingnut, Bill Bennett on his radio show and Bennett asked Bachmann why Obama was siding with the "liberal House Democrats rather than the more moderate [members]?" Bennett, a gambling addict (but he loves Jesus, so that's OK), answered his own question by saying that Obama was the "most liberal member of the Senate."

Bachmann mumbled her assent, "but added that she believes Republicans should 'thwart' as much of Obama's agenda as possible, specifically citing what she called 'socialized medicine' and the 'new tax on energy.':

"'If you want to look at economic history over the past 100 years. I call it punctuated equilibrium. If you look at FDR, LBJ, and Barack Obama, this is really the final leap to socialism. ... But we all know that we could turn this around and we can turn this around fairly quickly. We're still a free country.

'And as the Democrats are about to institutionalize cartels -- that's when they're very good at -- they're trying to consolidate power, so we need to do everything we can to thwart them at every turn to make sure that they aren't able to, for all time, secure a power base that for all time can never be defeated.'"

"Punctuated equilibrium?" Heh. Heh.

Now there are some very dim bulbs burning in the United States House of Representatives, but Michelle Bachmann still takes us by surprise. Nobody could possibly be that stupid. Nobody could be that deranged.

Well, nobody except Michelle, who spouts this stuff with that goofy look that exemplifies her empty head.

But, and here's the problem: She's taking her cues from Limbaugh and Kristol, and McConnell, Boehner and Cantor. She may be a total idiot, but she's simply mouthing what her controllers have told her to say.

If the Repugnicans ever get control of our government again, the great American experiment is over!

The Think Progress article is here.

The video goes back to November, but gives a pretty good indication of just how big a moron is Miss Bachmann.

Michelle Bachmann, Idiot

To paraphrase Mark Twain: Is Michelle Bachmann an idiot? But I repeat myself.

Steve Benen, writing for the Washington Monthly, is convinced she is. Idiotic. Plainly. How the hell she got enough votes to return to Congress is beyond all comprehension. It is a supreme disappointment for me, a former Minnesotan.

Much has been written about her previous comments with regard to Obama and members of Congress.

Benen has some new stuff taken from a recent chat Bachmann had with a conservative radio talk show host.

1. She said ACORN was under indictment by the Feds and ACORN gets $5 billion" from the stimulus bill.

ACORN is not under indictment and is not mentioned in the stimulus bill.

2. She said a number of Congresspeople don't like "capitalism."

3. She said the stimulus bill has a clause which means that "your doctor will no longer be able to make your healthcare decisions for you."

4. She said the stimulus bill is part of a Democratic conspiracy to take money from Republican districts so the Dems can hog all the federal money. It won't work, though, cause according to Michelle "We're running out of rich people in this country."

Blah, blah, blah.

Isn't there some way to impeach a congresswoman for stupidity beyond belief?

Read all of Benen's article here. One of my previous Bachmann articles is here.

Michelle Bachmann - Minnesota moron

Michelle Bachmann is a disgrace, and those Minnesotans who voted for her should hide their heads in a collective gesture of guilt and shame and then beg the people in Minnesota and all other Americans for forgive them for electing this wingnut to the U.S. House of Representatives.

In a previous post, we mentioned, among other things, Bachmann's fundamentalist Christian views, which she promotes as often as she gets a mike in her hand and her "palling around" with an extremist pastor, one Mac Hammond, who is under investigation by the IRS for misusing his church's funds.

Bachmann is back in the news again, not because of her belief that global warming is a hoax, or because she thinks god got her elected to the House of Reps, or because she thought John McCain was too liberal, or because she doesn't believe in evolution, or because god is on her side, but because she is incredibly stupid and accepted an invite to appear on Hardball with Chris Matthews.

Bachmann derives from the same mold as Sarah Palin, but, as unbelievable as it sounds, she may be even more stupid than Palin.

That stupidity became vividly and embarrassingly evident when Bachmann, on camera, smeared Barack Obama and other members of the United States Congress.

Bachmann accused Barack Obama of being "anti-American." She said, "I'm very concerneed that he may have anti-American views. That's what the American people are concerned about. That's why they want to know what his answers are. That's why Joe the plumber has figured so highly in the last few days."

Huh?

Like Palin, Bachmann is incoherent.

"In his book," claimed Bachmann, "Barack Obama had pointed to Jeremiah Wright as one of his mentors and also Father Pfleger as one of his mentors. Two of the three mentors are Father Pfleger and Jeremiah Wright. Now, these are very strange, anti-American mentors."

Bachmann wasn't done with her smearing, so she continued: "Barack Obama has been associating with anti-Americans, by and large -- the people who are radical leftists. That's the real question about Barack Obama."

She also said that it was fair to say that Obama "palled" around with terrorists.

Then she accused several members of Congress of having an "anti-American nature." When Matthews asked to name some of them, she couldn't or wouldn't. Nevertheless, she thought it would be a great idea if the anti-American members of Congress were investigated for the anti-American views.

Takes one right back to the good old days of Joe McCarthy! Bachmann is a freak of nature, who lives in a fantasy world derived from false images of the 1950's.

The real problem, though, is that's she's just as mean and nasty as Sarah Palin. And, like Palin, her meanness and nastiness is, in the eyes of many flummoxed and bamboozled fundamentalist Christians, cleansed and legitimized because she's been "saved," or "born again" and loves Jesus and prays and goes to church, and wears the flag on her sleeve, and just knows what god wants for America.

I guess when you really love Jesus, anything goes!

In fact, you can even take credit for projects you voted against! Click here.

Barf!
