This morning it appears that Senator Ted Stevens may go down in Alaska, which also means that god has closed the door on Palin heading to the Senate in the near future. On the other hand, if Stevens should win, the Senate may very well throw him out, and then Palin could say, "God saved the day, I'll just have to appoint myself to the Senate and maybe the good folks of Alaska will elect the First Dude as guv - he's really a good guy and under my administration he's gained a ton of executive experience!"
But it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Oh darn.
Plus, she's still got almost two years to serve as guv, and she like, really loves her job!
Nevertheless, Palin like just knows the people of Alaska and like how much they love her. She like trusts them. "I will do what the people of Alaska want me to do," she says.
However...as usual, god might get involved in Palin's life again. Here's how she put it: "...if they [the people of Alaska] call an audible on me [isn't that cute?], and if they say they want me in another position, I'm going to do it. ... My life is in God's hands. If he's got doors open for me, that I believe are in our state's best interest, the nation's best interest, I'm going to go through those doors."
How do you suppose Palin knows when God opens a door or when the Devil opens a door? What criteria does she use to determine that? And notice that even if she thinks God has opened a door she ain't going through it unless SHE determines that it's in "our state's best interest, the nation's best interest." Isn't that second-guessing god herself?
And if you believe any of this phony bullshit, you should move to Alaska so you can better "love" Sarah and help her govern, until she determines god wants her in the Oval Office and she must walk through that open door!
