With the new technology, it is easier for a few determined people to wage a”war” against our system. It has done great harm with the gridlocked Congress and the abuse of the filibuster. Four years were wasted due to contracts to never raise taxes for any reason and the desire to frustrate the sitting president in order to influence the two elections.

That was not business as usual and we do not know if it will change. I hope it does so we can return to sanity with a two party system dedicated to making our democracy work.Bob Porisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-558253513796745662.post-65709084845429253512012-11-09T21:13:45.213-05:002012-11-09T21:13:45.213-05:00blah, blah, blah, business as usual. That has been...blah, blah, blah, business as usual. That has been the nature of politics since the beginning. The French funded the revolution, the British sent money to the Confederacy, we secretly aided the British and got the Lusitania blown up. The Cia, Mossad, KGb interfere financially with everyone. I'm not asking you not to be morally outraged occasionally but get a grip. History moves on like a tightrope walker going down the line swaying left and sometimes right and may even someday fall. At the end of the day, don't get an ulcer or have unrealistic expectations. Eat some dinner, drink a glass of wine and take care of yourself.Lee Spanglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02793240733282525356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-558253513796745662.post-15318834308037286422012-11-09T10:09:40.768-05:002012-11-09T10:09:40.768-05:00Isn’t it about time to question the real motives, ...Isn’t it about time to question the real motives, other than greed for some, of creating gridlock to damage the US and the waiting world for three years? I understand greed to some extent. I even understand hardball politics and even racism. I do not understand undermining our system of government by weakening it and ignoring real problems that both sides shold want to resolve!

I think we should investigate what consequences are there if the oath of office is violated by signing contracts with a private entity to not do due diligence to serve the USA, like never voting for a tax increase OR ANYTHING BEFORE CONSIDERING THE CONSEQUENCES or the circumstances. What if they signed a contract to never authorize the use of military force? I am sure we could all list a number of things that should never be precluded in advance.

We certainly should know who or what is behind dangerous policies, if they are a foreign government entity. Currently it is possible for dangerous foreign or subversive entities to fund anything thru unknown third parties!

Bob Porisnoreply@blogger.com
