We all agree that there are major problems that are not addressed by competent people willing to debate solutions. We keep hearing silly sideshows that pick on some aspect of any news and ignore the ongoing problems that remain. Our law makers have ignored the potential jobs that addressing the infrastructure that only Government can address. They have ignored a real debate as to our economy based on facts and history. Instead we hear from selected commentators and find no agreement that can help. We face foreign dangers but waste time over political battles that have little to do with solving or addressing the problems. The list goes on and we do not even do the things all parties agree should be done, like close some loopholes none believe are useful, except those that profit.

How long can our government fail to address and resolve differences that have led to gridlock? For the most part only Congress can make laws; appoint people to jobs that traditionally were decided in days, rather than years in some cases. We know we now have homeless people that only a short time ago were working and buying our products or doing needed jobs. We concentrate on the few that we think are gaming the system and ignore the truly needy that do want to work and to return to their lives. Bob Porisnoreply@blogger.com
